    The LIG Awards program identifies and recognizes employees who put LIG's Talent Profile and Ways of Working into practice and demonstrate outstanding capabilities in their work. It aims to increase employee interest and participation so that LIG's vision and value system are actively put into practice in day-to-day operations.
    Q. What is the purpose of the LIG Awards?
    The LIG Awards program identifies outstanding employees and supports their growth, thereby strengthening the organization's competitiveness. It shares exemplary practices across LIG and helps build a better organizational culture.
    Q. How is the LIG Awards different from the LIG Talent Award (LIG人상)?
    The LIG Talent Award recognizes employees who have contributed to the growth of their respective affiliates through outstanding performance. The LIG Awards recognizes employees across all LIG affiliates who put LIG's values into practice and contribute to a stronger organizational culture.
    Q. How much weight is given to work performance during the evaluation?
    Work performance is an important evaluation criterion and is assessed in balance with the process through which each nominee puts LIG's value system into practice. The evaluation considers not only quantifiable results but also the nominee's actions, organizational impact, and growth potential to identify employees who can help shape LIG's future.

  • Editing an Application
    Q. Can I edit a submitted application before the application period ends?
    Yes. You may edit a submitted nomination at any time during the nomination period. Changes cannot be made after the deadline.
  • How to Apply
    Q. Can I apply only through a mobile device?
    Applications can be submitted through either a mobile device or a PC. Please use whichever option is more convenient for you.
    Q. Do I need to create an account to submit a nomination?
    No account registration is required. Please enter all required information accurately, including your name, company, and mobile phone number, to ensure a smooth review process.
  • Eligibility
    Q. Can a team be nominated?
    The LIG Awards program honors individuals who put LIG's values into practice, so only individual nominations are accepted. While team collaboration and collective effort are recognized, this award evaluates each individual's actions and contributions.
    Q. Who is eligible for the LIG Awards?
    All employees across LIG affiliates at G5 level or below who embody LIG's Talent Profile and Ways of Working and contribute to organizational progress are eligible for nomination.
    Q. Can I nominate my manager or an employee from another LIG affiliate? Can I nominate more than one person?
    Any LIG employee may nominate a manager or an employee from another LIG affiliate. Nominees must be at G5 level or below, and each employee may nominate one candidate.
    Q. Can I nominate myself?
    Yes. Eligible employees may nominate themselves. If you have put LIG's values into practice in your work, we encourage you to participate.
    Q. Can I nominate a colleague?
    Yes. You may nominate yourself or another employee. If you know someone who puts LIG's values into practice and contributes to the organization's progress, we encourage you to nominate them.
  • Candidate Nominations
    Q. Is there a minimum length-of-service requirement for nominees?
    No minimum length of service is required.
  • Evaluation Criteria
    Q. Does the size of each affiliate affect the selection of award winners?
    No award allocations are assigned according to affiliate size. Every nominee is evaluated using the same criteria, and company affiliations are concealed during the review to maintain a fair selection process.
    Q. What are the evaluation and judging criteria for the LIG Awards?
    Nominees are evaluated according to three LIG values: Openness and Positivity, Pursuit of Innovation, and Sustainable Growth. The judging panel uses defined competencies for each value to conduct an objective and fair evaluation.

    The core competencies are as follows.

    Respecting and showing consideration for people with different opinions and backgrounds.

    Maintaining a positive outlook and continuing to seek solutions during challenging situations.

  • Selection Process
    Q. How does the LIG Awards selection process work?
    The LIG Awards selection process consists of the following steps:

    1. Nomination or Self-Nomination: Candidates enter the process through nominations submitted by LIG employees or through self-nomination.
    2. Review and Verification: Candidates are evaluated through an application review, online interview, and reference check.
    3. Final Selection and Announcement: Following the judging panel's final evaluation, the Grand Prize and Young Leader Award recipients in each award category are selected and announced.
  • Number of Award Winners
    Q. How many people will receive an award?
    Each of the three categories will have one Grand Prize recipient and one Young Leader Award recipient. Two employees will be selected from each category, for a total of six award winners. Additional awards may also be presented depending on the evaluation results.
  • Benefits for Award Winners
    Q. What benefits do LIG Awards winners receive?
    Award winners receive a plaque and a cash prize, along with an opportunity to attend CES and experience leading global technology trends firsthand.

    1. Award Plaque and Cash Prize
    · Grand Prize: KRW 3,000,000
    · Young Leader Award for employees with five or fewer years of service: KRW 2,000,000

    2. Opportunity to Attend CES
    Winners will have an opportunity to experience leading technology trends firsthand and gain inspiration for new ideas.
    Q. Does winning an LIG Award affect performance evaluations or compensation at the winner's affiliate?
    Winning an LIG Award is not directly linked to the formal performance evaluation or compensation system of any affiliate. It is recorded as a meaningful achievement recognizing the individual's outstanding capabilities and dedication, and continued attention and support are provided for the winner's self-development and growth.
  • Awards Ceremony
    Q. Can members of a winner's team attend the awards ceremony?
    The LIG Awards ceremony is held during the New Year's gathering for executives. Attendance is therefore limited to award winners.
    Q. Where will the awards ceremony be held?
    The venue will be confirmed at a later date and announced together with the award winners.
  • CES Visit
    Q. Are travel expenses other than accommodation and meals covered for the CES visit?
    Yes. Airfare, local transportation, accommodation, and meals will be covered. Additional expenses may also be covered in accordance with the business travel policy of each winner's affiliate. Details of the full scope of support will be provided after the winners are confirmed.

    Q. Will information about applicants and nominees be shared with the HR department of their affiliate?
    Application information may be shared with the relevant department of a nominee's affiliate when verification is required. This verification process confirms details such as the nominee's position, employment history, and previous awards and ensures a fair and transparent review.
